Pelhams Preschool, affectionately called 'Penguins', was established over 50 years ago and has enjoyed a longstanding reputation for offering a high quality, caring and stimulating experience for Preschool children in the locality.  A stable, highly experienced and committed team of staff helps ensure that your child’s first exposure to a more structured learning environment is both positive and rewarding, filling them with enthusiasm for the years ahead.  Close links with Furneux Pelham JMI School and other local schools allows a seamless introduction to the primary school years.

Places at Preschool are offered to children from age 2 years until school entry.

We are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance (PLA) and are run by a committee of predominantly parents of existing and past pupils, helping to ensure that as a parent or carer your views and opinions will always be heard.

Sessions run during school-term Monday to Thursday from 9.00am - 2.45pm.  There is also the possibility for pre-booked extended lunchtime care incorporating a lunch-club which is available until 1pm from Monday to Thursday.  Thursdays are designated for the older year group only.

Monday – Thursday           9.00am – 1.15pm    with lunch

Monday – Thursday           9.00am – 2.30pm    with lunch for extended day session
